I believe that birth is a beautiful natural process and need not be a medical event.   Your body knows how to do it.  I am an advocate for a natural birth, but more than that, I work to help women become empowered to make their own educated decisions and the best choices for their circumstances in labor and birth.  Is an all natural birth the right choice for every woman? Not necessarily.  Every pregnancy and birth is different, and it all comes down to circumstances, beliefs, and personal reasons/choices. My hope is to dispel fear and anxiety during labor and birth through advocacy, education, and support. I am fully supportive of hospital, home, or birthing center births. I believe in a woman's right to make an educated choice about where and with whom to give birth.  I want to be there for you, as your advocate, as your labor support person, as your doula. Every woman has the right to feel empowered by her birthing experience!
